Here are some sample sites/applications if you want to take a look at what we do. These sites do not use Flash or Shockwave. These are sites that load quickly, will run on 99.99% of your customers' computers, and are simple to navigate.
Cooks and Caters
This first one is a simple site that we are creating for a Chef in the Fort Worth area. He wanted a site that gave his potential customers a brief glimpse into his cooking style. The fresh vegetables, the cooking tips, his daily menus... all of these help bring his personality and passion to the viewer. Click the image to the left (or above) to be taken to the site.
We are using Joomla! version 1.5.15 to create the site with a template design from Joomla!Shack.
This next site was created for a photographer in the Dallas area who specializes in photos of families and school activities. Ms. Pochman needed a site that would showcase her talent so we chose a way to rotate pictures on the front page and divided her portfolio into categories. Departing a bit from our Joomla-powered examples, we used Wordpress 2.8 to produce this site. Please feel free to visit Debbie's website by clicking on her name or by clicking the image above.
Here we have the website of an internationally known career counselor who has her offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Dr. Harkness wanted large images of her three books on the front page where we seated them in a column on the right. Clicking on any of these book images takes the visitor to a detailed description of the book and a sales page that offers the visitor a Paypal solution for purchasing.
This site features a revolving panoramic image just below the menu (the client selected the pictures) as well as a random banner that is displayed in the upper right corner of each page. An RSS feed is available and connections to the client's social media sites can be found on the first page.
Again, we used Joomla! version 1.5.15 and a premium template from Joomla!Shack.
If a school is looking for a stylish yet inexpensive solution for a website presence, then they should consider the School Site demo from eTech Alliance. Using a template from Joomlashack, we have created a design that will give teachers, coaches, and administrative staff the ability to update the website with specific information about their decided disciplines and not have to wait for the Information Technology staff or Web Master to use html or CSS to make site changes. The information can be edited from the front end by using an approved ID and password. This sample site allows each discipline to have their own section.
